QUENTIN MAYO / FIELD NOTES
Privacy and data choices
Privacy and data choices
Updated October 12, 2026. This notice covers QuentinMayo.com, Quentin Mayo’s personal WordPress website.
Reading this website
You can read the public posts without an account. Public visitor registration is disabled. Our hosting and security systems process requests, IP addresses, browser details and error logs to serve and protect the website. Administrator sign-in uses WordPress session cookies.
Analytics and errors
We use a self-hosted Umami service to understand page visits, referring pages, browser language and screen information. The page-view proxy removes URL query strings and fragments before forwarding analytics. It processes the request’s IP address and user agent for analytics; we do not send account identifiers as page-view fields. Bugsink receives filtered technical error reports to help diagnose failures. Avoid placing private information in public page URLs.
Support, forms and beta requests
When you send a support or feature request, we collect the title, description, optional contact email and basic page/client details you submit. If you are signed in, the support system can associate the request with your WordPress identity. Beta requests collect the information shown in that form. These records are held in the Programming Securely support system; authorized administrators review them, and request titles and references may be included in internal Slack notifications. Other contact forms collect the fields shown when you submit them. Please do not send passwords, API keys or private vulnerability evidence through these forms.
Access and deletion
You can request access, correction or deletion through the Support / Feature Request control on this site. Include a contact address so we can verify ownership; do not include a password. We can remove eligible submissions and account data after verification. Public author content, operational records and backups may require separate review. Deleting a browser session does not delete submitted records. We have not published a fixed retention period or guaranteed backup-erasure time.
Links and updates
External websites handle information under their own notices. We update this page when the site’s practices change.
